Honorable mentions and tourist choices

Best bar with a bowling alley: Harp and Crown. Incredible architecture inside and out with cocktails/food to match. There is a private bowling alley downstairs with all the instagram worthy decor to make your followers swoon with likes.

Best coffee, tourist choice: La Colombe in Fishtown. This is the OG La Colombe shop that launched the boujee coffee revolution in Philly. They're now a nationwide brand.

 ​

Best milkshake, tourist choice: Insomnia Cookies, Cookie Lab (next to Pat's and Geno's). Honestly, this place is great and has a speakeasy milkshake lab. Insomnia started in Philly and launched a late night cookie revolution for college kids everywhere.

Best cheesesteak, tourist choice: Pat's and Geno's (I can hear the complaints of every Philadelphian reading this). In my opinion if you're only coming to Philly once, you should try them both and get the full experience. It's fun, greasy, and even the president's try them both when they visit Philly so that's one thing you'll have in common.

Best overall burger: Village Whiskey. This is a much classier burger that is meaty, cheesy heaven with every bite.

Best rooftop bar, tourist choice: Attico rooftop. It looks good on Instagram.

Best hotel bar: Ritz Carlton Center City. Incredible architecture inside and out and renowned cocktails that are pricey, but as incredible as the architecture.
